Farida Wong has been a dress designer since 1983. Her involvement in competitive ballroom dancing prompted her to produce a line of spectacular dancewear for both competitors and social dancers. Only a dancer can understand a dancer's unique needs. When that dancer is also one of Canada's best-established professional designers, you're the winner!

We designed, manufactured and sold an extensive line of high-quality practice & social dancewear, including American & International Style ballgowns, bodysuits, skirts, and Latin dance costumes. But we are now retired, the business is closing, and we are clearing out our stock.

We take great pride in the quality which is built into all our garments, striving to bring you the best fabrics possible along with superior workmanship. Style, comfort, and fit are of major importance to us.

The Farida Wong Dancewear Collection consists of a wide variety of styles, fabrics, and colours, which provide a great deal of choice to you, our customers. You will find many of our garments are made in limited quantities since fabrics and colours change frequently. Versatility is another factor, therefore most items – like bodysuits, tops, blouses, and skirts – mix and match easily, thus helping to extend your wardrobe.

Many bodysuits are lined and have soft moulded bra cups. Other details – such as keepers in shoulders for bra straps and gussets (when necessary) – are built-in to ensure your comfort and flexibility while dancing.

Most bodysuits come with a self-fabric belt, designed so that the buckles are interchangeable.
(Note: Upgraded buckles are available at extra cost.)

Our skirts come in a wide range of styles and colours, complementing our line of bodysuits and tops. Skirts have invisible zippers and partially elasticized waistbands for increased comfort and flexibility.

The same high quality is built into each garment with top quality fabrics, feathers and rhinestones. Please note that we use only #1 quality Swarovski Crystals as embellishment on our garments and we never mix in cheaper rhinestones.
